There were two filled stalls for the start-up park this year, occupied by IG Drones and SMPS electric. UTNT had reserved a stall but had to cancel at the last minute due to unforeseeable circumstances.
It's a technical quiz contest consisting of 3 rounds. Where the participants forms a group of 3 and when the question is displayed on the screen, the one who presses the buzzer firstly will be allowed to answer at first. the team who have scored more marks will be the winner.
Debugging contest. Participants had to go through 8 levels of questions, and the top three based on completion time were awarded prizes.
LOGO is an esoteric programming language. It can be used to generate patterns, and the objective of this event was for participants to showcase their creativity by making patterns using LOGO.
A photobooth was set up and decorated according to a tech fest. There were also nerdy props to make use of. We charged people to get Polaroid printouts of the photos.
A maze was built in the football ground. Participants had to enter the maze and find their way out of it. Volunteers at various checkpoints within the maze were stationed to ask questions in exchange for hints to get out of the maze. We charged an amount of Rs. 50 for entering the maze.
A regular coding contest. Participants were given one and half hours to pass all test cases and submit their code. The participant who submit the code within less time and solved more correct questions as comparing to other participants, he/she is declared as winner
There were some trainees from IG drones who were teaching how to flew the drones and the students standing near to it got chance to flew and witnessing the experience. There are some recorded footage of the campus.
A robotics obstacle course contest. This was organized by RobogeniX, the robotics club of SCSE. The participants were asked to follow some rules, in which they were asked to pass the pathways without touching the pylons. The participant who can do it, he/she declared as winner. It's a fun event for technical and non-technical.
Treasure hunt, non-technical. Open to all schools of the university. Participants had to look for clues across the campus and the first team to reach the final clue was declared the winner. 5 clues were there. 18 teams.
A talent hunt event, wherein there were dance and music performances in groups and solo. Saw participants from different institutions like C V Raman, Centurion University. Two winners were awarded in each of the respective two categories - music and dance.
Online gaming event. 20 participants, 4 teams competed in a game of Valorant.
Mr. Anurag Kirti, HR at Wipro, spoke about how to keep up pace with recession and layoffs in 2023. It was an extremely delightful and insightful lecture.
Participants made origami figures from paper. It was a recreational event. Saw heavy participation from Impart, the art and creativity club of the university.
Flagship event of SynChronize'23. 34 participants in 13 teams presented their innovative ideas in the field of technology in form of posters. They were judged by two panels consisting of faculty and scholars from different schools of our university.
Online gaming event, FIFA. 16 participants competed against each other.
Treasure hunt with the same principles but the clues were technical riddles to solve. One had to know basic computer science and mathematics fundamentals to be able to solve these clues. First team to reach final clue was declared the winner.
DALL-E is an AI tool that can generate art based on user input, which is a description of the art the user wants to be created. Participants used this tool to generate art and the most creative was awarded a prize.
Mr. Arsh Goyal, SDE at Samsung and a popular YouTube content creator for students looking for internships and placements, conducted a lecture on Kickstarting Your Career with an Edge. Valuable lessons and advice were shared.
SynChronize'23 was concluded by the talented and popular local DJ, Ajex.
